21 Of The Best Sounds

Natural, man made, sounds from our youth and sounds we go to seek, sounds are all around us. Even right now there is a whir of the laptop and the tumble drying spinning away whilst zips and buttons knock on it's barrel.

We thought we should look in to sounds that we would call our favourite and best sounds that we can remember. These are not in any particular order, they are just added as we think of them and as they happen throughout our daily life.

The sound of water, especially waves continuously crashing on to the shore from a distance. There is something rhythmic, theraputic and full of life to it. That energy has most probably traveled for thousands of miles across an ocean to be converted in to wave energy.

Being underwater is another one of our favourite sounds, literally the sound of nothing, but noises there are dreamlike.

Musicians tuning their instruments is nice, thought provoking and especially string instruments. The hope that a string doesn't snap on the musician and the journey of as it get's tighter and more high pitched until it's in tune.

Rain is hard to beat, especially on a thin and hard roof, or even in a tent whilst camping. Just like the sound of waves lapping up against a shoreline, rain is theraputic and relaxing.

Ice cubes crackle when you pour a liquid over the top of them, imagine your favourite drink being poured right on to a bunch of ice cubes.
