Volunteer Enquiries Coordinator (Saunderton)

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People receives no government funding and relies on its kind volunteers to continue changing the lives of deaf people. We have a range of fun and worthwhile volunteer roles across the UK, and our 3,000+ members of the volunteer family directly help deaf people leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life.

The volunteering department are responsible for recruiting and retaining this wonderful army of volunteers, and are kept very busy with finding the right people and matching them to the perfect role.

We wish to find someone to really commit to this great opportunity. Perhaps someone with existing skills looking for a move into the charity sector or a recent graduate looking for an inspiring and interesting first job. Whichever way, we need someone with a bright, happy personality to seamlessly join the team and add value from day one.

The successful person will be at ease with creating website content, adept with social media, have excellent written and verbal skills, be a database whizz and real people person. They will play an extremely active part in an innovative, results-focused recruitment programme for high priority volunteer roles as well as coordinating our Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. They will help generate, then follow-up, match and chase a high volume of enquiries, as well as help fast-track critical volunteer applications to completion, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer service along the volunteer journey.
