Trainee Hearing Aid Dispenser (Scotland/Glasgow)

Train for a career in healthcare sales as a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser Hidden Hearing is one of the largest providers of independent hearing care in the UK. With over 80 specialised clinical branches and over 120 qualified hearing aid dispensers, we conduct over 100,000 hearing assessments each year, helping the hard of hearing live the life they want with the hearing they have. We are currently recruiting for trainee’s to join our flagship education programme ‘The Award in Hearing Aid Dispensing Competence’ that provides eligibility to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council to register as a Hearing Aid Dispenser. Trainees who achieve their professional registration automatically become Hearing Aid Dispensers, with Hidden Hearing, selling hearing systems and providing bespoke services to our client base. Our education programme offers an ‘earn as you learn’ scheme with all education fees paid, plus a generous trainee package including a basic salary. A company car or car allowance is available on successful completion of an initial 20 week training period. Before applying you should also be aware that our unique, HCPC approved, work based education programme lasts for 60 weeks, with approximately the first 20 weeks being residential (Monday – Friday) at Hidden Hearing’s training facility in Buxton, Derbyshire. In addition to a subsistence allowance and full funding of the education programme, trainees receive a basic salary. Following successful HCPC registration you will benefit from an increased basic salary, commission and sales bonus package. After the initial 20 weeks training, trainees who are field based and go on to the second stage of the programme also receive a car or car allowance.
