Senior Audiologist (Colchester)

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) is embarking on a period of transformational change and we are looking for a team of skilled clinical technicians who will work with the leadership team, to deliver that future. As part of our transformational change we are looking for an additional, committed and qualified Senior Audiologist to join our large and friendly team within Hearing and Balance Services. You will need to be a strong team player and believe in our shared values and driven to deliver patient promises. This is what drives our CEO to work every day and he requires you to feel the same. You will need to possess a BSc in Audiology or BAA Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent with a minimum of two years clinical experience, as you will need to provide a broad range of assessment and diagnostic procedures and for complex auditory rehabilitation. You will be competent at performing paediatric testing for ENT, including VRA and other performance tests. Previous experience of looking after a team and supporting and coaching students would be advantageous. The role is based at Colchester Hospital in Colchester, Essex and you will be expected to work in satellite or peripheral units and to work in community settings such as domiciliary visits: ESNEFT audiology service continues to work to MHAS guidelines. The Trust has implemented Agenda for Change and is committed to ongoing professional training and development.

As an organisation we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This means that some staff groups will increasingly be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can offer services in the evenings or at weekends.
