Paediatric Audiologist (London)

We are seeking a Paediatric Audiologist to join our Bart’s Paediatric Audiology multi-disciplinary teams at Hackney and Tower Hamlets. The services are based at Hackney Ark & the Royal London Hospital. Predominantly a clinical role, this will keep you busy with a full range of paediatric assessment and (re) habilitation challenges, together with some delegated service development and/or management responsibilities. This interesting specialist role will involve working with babies, children and families in our spacious, family-friendly multi-disciplinary centres and taking on the responsibilities of this role within the dynamic working environment at Bart’s will enable clinical and personal development. You should be able to provide evidence working in a patient-centred way, and value supporting children and families through the wider patient journey. You will be confident working with children, both autonomously and as a flexible team-member. The role demands sufficient experience of working in paediatric audiology (in behavioural testing) with training provided in electro-physiological assessment as well as (re) habilitation. You must have either a minimum of a BSc in Audiology or a BTec in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement and BAAT Parts I & II (or equivalent). You should be registered with RCCP, or be registered/close to registration as a clinical scientist with HCPC.
