Assistant Audiologist (Glasgow)
Greater Glasgow & Clyde forms the largest Health Authority in the UK which provides Audiology services over a large area of inner city and rural populations. The role of the Assistant is to support Audiologists in the provision of Audiology and Hearing care to the population of Greater Glasgow & Clyde. You will, after a period of in house training, carry out basic hearing aid checks/ maintenance where necessary, earmould maintenance, impression taking and battery issue. You will also carry out administrative and clerical duties, room preparation and stock control/ ordering. It is essential you have excellent communication skills and empathy with the hearing impaired and their families. You should have good computer skills. The shift pattern of this post is worked between Monday and Friday.
