DescriptionThe Widex Passion is a receiver-in-the-ear product, one of the smallest on the market. The specific Passion105 model has subsequently been superseded by the Widex Clear220 or Widex Dream220. The physical product design has been kept the same, just the sound processing features updated. (There has also been an additional receiver power level introduced with the Clear and Dream Passion products to cover a greater degree of hearing loss)The Passion105 is the so-called budget level, and the features are down-scaled accordingly. For example there are 5 compression channels as opposed to the 10 in the Passion110 and 15 in the Passion115. There is also only 1 listening programme, and the remote control is not available as an option.The Passion uses a size 10 battery, which helps to keep the overall size of the product to an absolute minimum. However, the disadvantage is that size 10 batteries do not usually last very long.
